There are many ideas that people ponder in the world, one of which is the existence of Zombies. Whether someone is simply curious about Zombies, or they are convinced that they exist, there are still many pending questions that are out there to answer. The idea of zombie existence has been widely debated and thoroughly discussed. In an article by Bernard Deiderich and Claudia Wallis in Time Magazine, that analyzed Zombies existence, Dr. Lamarque Douyon, a theorist on their existence argues, that people are poisoned by a coma-inducing toxin creating an unconscious state, "poisoned in such a way that his [Narcisse] vital signs could not be detected." (Deiderich and Wallis, 1).
Though there are some who believe in zombies concievability, there are also those who believe in their non-existence. Robert Kirk, argues there exitence extensively relying on the theory of physicilism. In an article that Kirk wrote he argues that "Zombies would be like us in all physical respects, but without physical consiousness. It is widely agreed that if zombies are possible, phyiscalism is false (Kirk, 1). He argues that the existence of Zombies counters the idea of e-qualia (Kirk, 1). This represents only one of the arguments countering their existence.
