Print Ad Rhetorical Appeals


This ad displays all three forms of rhetorical appeals. The source has ethos credibility because the North Dakota Department of Health certifies the ad. The logos appeal of the ad is the fact that it can happen to you therefore it must have happened sometime in the past to someone. The source also has pathos credibility because it uses the worrisome facial expressions of the models to draw out emotion. It also has kairos because we can trust the fact the North Dakota Department of Health is a credible source.
