Self As A Writer

The style of writing that I have the most experience in is research papers or current events. I do not have much experience in writing lyrics or poetry. I enjoy writing research papers about topics that I am curious about because then I am able to gain knowledge about something that interests me. Aspects of writing that I find difficult are staying in same the same tense, getting off track, run on sentences and switching topics throughout my papers. I would say that me and writing are acquaintances, meaning that I somewhat know how to do but could definitely get to know it better. For me writing is like riding a roller coaster, I always anticipate it to be so hard and bad and then when its over I realize it was not that hard to do.
